Mount Union to Host 2012 Soccer Camps; Youth Camp and High School Skills Camps June 18-22
The University of Mount Union will host soccer camps this summer for boys and girls on June 18-22. There will be a youth camp for ages 6 - entering 8th grade then a high school skills camp for entering 9th grade through age 18.

Grenga and Mara Recognized with Academic Honor From Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio—Senior Mount Union men's soccer players Anthony Grenga (Canfield/Boardman) and Anthony Mara (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) were named to the 2011 Academic All-Ohio Division III Second Team by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.

WILMINGTON, Ohio—Two Mount Union men's soccer players have been recognized by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association. Sophomore forward Thomas Beck (Poland/Cardinal Mooney) and senior defender Anthony Grenga (Canfield/Boardman) were selected to the OCSA Division III All-Ohio Team.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio—Sophomore forward Thomas Beck (Poland/Cardinal Mooney), junior goalkeeper Jon Critell (Youngstown/Cardinal Mooney), and senior defender Anthony Mara (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) were selected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team by the conference's 10 head coaches. Additionally, Critell was named Goalkeeper of the Year and three other Purple Raiders received honorable mention honors

Men's Soccer Ends OAC Tourney Run with Loss to No. 9 Ohio Northern
ADA, Ohio—The Mount Union men’s soccer team lost to No. 9 Ohio Northern, 6-0, in an Ohio Athletic Conference semifinal match Tuesday afternoon in Ada. The Purple Raiders end their season 10-8-2 and had their best OAC Tournament showing in program history.

Purple Raiders, No. 9 Polar Bears Meet in OAC Semifinals
The Mount Union men’s soccer is set to play No. 9 Ohio Northern in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ada. The fifth-seed Purple Raiders defeated Wilmington, 1-0-, on Monday to advance to play the Polar Bears, who earned a first round bye as the No. 1 seed.

The 3-0 start is the Purple Raiders' best since head coach John Witkowski took over the program in 2007.
