Men's Soccer: Mount Union Falls at #15 John Carroll

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's soccer team dropped to 8-7-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference after falling 3-0 to nationally ranked No. 15 John Carroll (14-2-1, 6-2) in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday night in University Heights. 

In a first half where the Blue Streaks outshot the Purple Raiders 7-0, they also got up on the scoreboard. John Carroll's Dalton Browsky scored in the 33rd minute to put the Blue streaks up 1-0 heading into halftime. 

The second half was a similar story as the Blue Streaks outshot the Raiders 7-4 while adding two more goals in the half. Browsky score his second goal of the night in the 56th minute while Jesse Marinaro added the final goal of the game in the 71st minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Zach Hlas  (Medina/Medina) faced seven shots on goal while playing all 90 minutes for Mount Union.

The Raiders will end the regular season Saturday, October 28th against Otterbein at 7 p.m. in Mount Union Stadium
