Women's Soccer: Raiders To Honor Student-Athlete Sydney Kleptach

Mount Union's women's soccer team will honor freshman goalkeeper Sydney Kleptach Saturday, October 6 at 7 p.m. in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Wilmington in Mount Union Stadium. 

T-shirts will be sold for $10 along with chuck-a-ball for $1 per ball or six for $5. A basket raffle and bake sale items will also commence with all proceeds go to the Kleptach family. 

Members of the GlenOak varsity girl's soccer team and the Kleptach family will be honorary captains for the match. 

Sydney Kleptach, age 18, passed away on Monday, Sept. 10 as a result of a car accident.

The native of North Canton, Ohio and GlenOak High School graduate was a goalkeeper on the Purple Raider women's soccer team, a Biology and French major and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
