Women's Golf: Mount Union Takes Second at John Carroll Invitational

HUDSON, Ohio - Mount Union's women's golf team took second place with a 674 (345+329) at the John Carroll Invitational Sunday, September 14 at Hudson Country Club. 

The Purple Raiders were led by junior Brianna Potts (Applecreek / Waynedale) who carded a 167 (87+80) tying for seventh place. One stroke behind Potts was junior Emma Jeffries (Wooster) with a 168 (85+83), coming in ninth. Sophomore Maura Knox (Stow) and senior Rachel Markle (Solon) rounded out the team score, 10th and 11th, with a 169 (87+82) and 170 (86+84) respectively. 

The Raiders continue play Saturday, September 28 at the OAC Fall Preview at River Greens G.C.
