Women's Swimming: Mount Union in Fourth Place After Day Two of Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER, Ohio - Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team sits in fourth place after day two of the Wooster Invitational.

The Purple Raiders finished eighth in the 200-yard medley with swimmers sophomore Lindsey Collins (Uniontown / Massillon Jackson), senior Elise Pichola (Rocky River / Rocky River), junior Maggie Gyurke (Bellevue / St. Mary Central Catholic), and sophomore Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex. / Rockwall) recording a time of 1:54.62.

Gyurke continued on to take eighth place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.43.

Incristi and freshman Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) competed in the 200-yard freestyle taking fifth and sixth place clocking times of 1:59.65 and 2:00.67.

800-yard freestyle team of Incristi, sophomore Molly Muckleroy (Uniontown / North Canton Hoover), sophomore Callie Landry (Broussard, La. / Teurlings Catholic), and Schuller placed fifth finishing with a time of 8:12.12.

Junior Sarah Hrycyk (Massillon / Jackson) took fourth in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 321.70.

The final day of the Wooster Invitational is Saturday with preliminaries starting at 11 a.m.
